Ipath was created in 1998 by a group of style-conscious skateboarders in San Francisco. With an against-the-grain mentality, simple aesthetic and eco-minded approach to design they set out to create an alternative to the then tech-driven skateboard shoe trend.

The result was a unique lifestyle brand that embodied the soulful and creative aspects of skateboarding. Ipath’s “follow your path” message has inspired skateboarders to focus on the enjoyment of skateboarding and to celebrate originality. The iconic Cat model conceived by Matt Rodriguez originally established Ipath’s unique point of view in the skateboarding world.
