Colin Read has spent over two years capturing and collating footage of people rooftop skateboarding around New York, which can’t of been easy! With skating from riders like Connor Kammerer, Koki Loaiza, Piro Sierra, Eby Ghafarian, Alex Fogt, Billy Rohan, Ryan Barlow, Nic Nootens, Spike Lamy, and Leo Gutman this is definitely not one to miss.

The good folks over at Adidas Skateboarding have presented us with a new addition to the skateboarding range, the Silas SLR. The latest Silas signature shoe is a new hybrid model between a skate shoe and running shoe, and the third Silas model from Adidas. The new silhouette combines a few attributes from the Adidas catalogue such as the upper overlays of the Boston, with inspirations from Silas’s favourite model, the Adistar Racer. Rockin’ the three stripes on a smooth suede upper and delicate golden branding to produce that quality we all love from Adidas.

It’s been a while coming but at least them Christmas and New Year hangovers are now a distant memory. For those that attended our skate park for the premiere of our forthcoming dvd “Too Right” or came along and got very merry at our Christmas Party then hopefully these pics and short video will jog some jaded memories of an all round Black Sheep Festive time.

Nike SB have already come through with a unique colour pallet on the 1st drop on the SS14 release including the Lunar One Shot which you may have already read about on our blog. The 2nd drop of the season introduces a revolutionary take on the best selling skate shoes from Nike SB, the Janoski & Koston 2 to create a unique shoe. Each design combines the key components from the Janoski and Koston 2 with running inspired elements from Nike’s Air Max and Free Run sole technology to create an innovative hybrid for skateboarding.
The Nike SB Janoski Max features a breathable, extremely lightweight synthetic mesh upper which is detailed with a faint camouflage layer. The outter sole is fused with the flexible Nike Free tread at the front, with Air Max style sole at the heel which will provide extra impact protection, the speckled sole really adds a splash of character to the shoe. Available in Midnight Navy/White and Crimson Red/White.
The Nike SB Koston 2 Max is a transformed take on the Koston 2‘s. As with the Janoski, the Koston 2 Max carries the same sole structure with the Free Run along the front outter-sole completed with Air Max rear sole. The new design features lightweight Hyperfuse and mesh construction while the combination of a Max Air heel unit and Free forefoot provides a flexible cushioning.
