The fourth part of the Adidas X Thrasher Magazine series,’Far And Away’ is now online for us to enjoy and build up more hype for the imminent premiere of Away Days. This fourth installment is more like a shortened slam section, with an insight into what it has taken to get those tricks for the full video. Filming for a video as big as this can push the best skateboarders in the world to their mental and physical breaking point. It’s not all doom and gloom in this edit though, highlights include Busenitz skating some bamboo and some street bangers that are fitted in to under four minutes of footage. Away Days is going to be deep!
The third installment of the Adidas X Thrasher ‘Far And Away’ series has landed on the internet and the hype for the premiere’s of ‘Away Days’ keeps on building. In this episode you can see that Adidas is not just an American team with a few Euro dudes thrown in for a mix, they have got together a varied squad of skateboarders with roots in every continent in the world. The edit is more about the global nature they have within their team, how everyone is stoked to be skating with such a variety of people and the genuine likeness and respect they have for each other. Away Days is only a few days away with the UK premiere taking place this Thursday, 17th May in London. This is going to be one of the top videos of the year and we cant wait for it !
Prepare for one of the gnarliest parts you will probably see this year. Jordan Maxham comes through with the goods in his “Sun Machine” section. You might remember him from Ty Evans’ We Are Blood video in which he chucks himself down El Toro a good few times battling a massive frontside flip. It must be one of his go to tricks as the Grizzly Grip rider has also been on Jim Greco’s House Of Hammers feature What’s A Guy Gotta Do where he frontside flips over an eighteen stair handrail. He isn’t just the one hammer kind of guy though, he shows he’s got some tricky ledge techniques in his bag as well. Not going to spoil anything but just wait for that final trick, madness. The clip was released through The Skateboard Mag website and will probably be one of the most watched clips this week.
After teasing his first pro board at Agenda Long Beach this past January, Primitive Skateboards officially announced that Brian Peacock would be joining the pro ranks over the weekend. The announcement comes with a brand new part from Newark, Delaware’s finest board control wizard. He’s been smashing it for a while now and from the three minutes or so of footage it’s easy to see why. Click play below to see the master of casual crushing!
You can keep up with Brian by following him on Instagram
I know this Flo Mirtain’s “Mall Grab” Part came out a couple of days ago, but for those that didn’t manage to see it first time around like myself, here it is now. The technical capabilities that Flo Mirtain has is incredible. I mean he’s a magician, not many people can execute the kick-flip and heel-flip game to a high level. This part has come at a perfect time too as the sun in Manchester is finally making regular appearances and with the lighter days there is plenty of time to go skating. That’s my weekend hype sorted, you must be crazy if it hasn’t inspired you too.
It’s no secret that Flo rides for Cliche Skateboards, if you fancy grabbing a Cliche deck as your next board then do so now…
