Vans x Pyramid Country Half Cab Pro

Vans Pro Skate coming through with a very special highly limited release this time collaborating with Arizona-based skateboarding collective ‘Pyramid Country.’

This year being the 25th Anniversary of the ever popular and highly regarded Vans Half Cab it’s great to see these well thought out collab’s backing up the now legendary status of Steve Caballero’s Pro silhouette. You can tell the time and effort put into this release as the detailing and premium materials used are on a whole other level. The uppers are constructed with a pig suede, leather and mesh materials, embossed Pyramid Country tetrahedron detail, custom insole artwork along with featuring all the usual Vans Pro upgrading using the Duracap reinforced sole unit and Ultracush HD sockliners.  Leaving the best detail till last and giving these a serious ‘wow factor’ these bad boy’s GLOW IN THE DARK! Yeah, that waffle gum sole unit not only sticks like hell to your board but also gives off some toxic like glow when creeping in the darkness.

Get to know the weird and wonderful world of the Pyramid Country below. The Sonoran Desert has a lot to answer for…

Release date for the Vans x Pyramid Country Half Cab Pro is set for this Saturday 23/09/17 with the very limited stock that’s made it’s way into the UK.

Rough Cut: Flo Mirtain “Tricolor” Part

Tuesday, September 12th, 2017

As seems to be the tradition these days, after such a big release the people over at Thrasher Magazine sift through what must be heaps of footage to bring us these Rough Cut edits. These clips somehow hype up even more than the proper feature that had gone before and manage to make the skating even more gnarly than the first time around. Coming in at twenty minutes this will fill you with up most appreciation for the dedication that Flo has put into this part to produce such mind blowing footage. They say perfection doesn’t come easily, the lsams and near makes in this would push the most sanest of people close to the edge but Flo keeps it flowing.

Pizza Skateboards – Asphalt Romance

Tuesday, September 12th, 2017

Asphalt Romance is the latest visual offering from Pizza Skateboards, it’s a new video that was filmed on a team trip to Japan and South Korea. This lot do not disappoint when it comes to skate trip videos, the edits of their missions to Barcelona and Puerto Rico really stood out and were filled with some real gnarly tricks so the thought of them hitting up those sick looking east Asian obstacles is a must watch. Expect some heavy skateboarding on some unaccustomed streets and incredible spots with power moves from Chase Webb, Michael Pulizzi, Jesse Vieira and Adam Taylor.
