Baker Skateboards have been on it this past week treating us to some new footage, firstly showing us their new additions to the team in the Baker Am video and now this tour edit of some of the crew over in Dubai. While the AM video concentrated on the new blood like Zach Allen, Donta Hill and Kader Sylla this edit features more of the well known names from the Baker squad like Figgy, Reynolds and Cyril Jackson (plus special guest Toy Machine rider Colin Provost). Released in connection with The Skateboard Mag (alongside an article in the latest issue) and containing one of the best verial heelflips from the boss himself this clip is perfect for that injection of pre skate hype.
Cyril Jackson has dropped a new feel good part via Thrasher Magazine and it’s a banger. Filled with a chilled out soundtrack and infinite smiles, Cyril is able to skate any spot in his own way looking like he’s having fun all the time, and that’s what skateboarding should be about right? The Baker Skateboards and DC rider’s skating is in that sweet spot between positive chaos and ultimate control. Watching ‘Afterburner’ will energize and inspire you to grab your board, get out that door and go have some fun. Click play and enjoy.
When the summer comes it can only mean one thing for various skate teams, tour time. The DC lads have been at it again and have released quite a lot of footage already over the past few months. The newest edit is the DC Shoes US-Eh? tour video. They toured around the north east hitting up Maryland to Montreal and everywhere in between, the team shredded the parks made some shop appearances, did the demos and met all the locals along the way. On board for the trip were Chris Cole, Evan Smith, Wes Kremer, Chase Webb, Cyril Jackson, John Gardner, Morgan Smith, John Shanahan, Tiago Lemos, Charles Deschamps and more.
DC Shoes have just released a new montage from Evan Smith’s ‘A Tour Of It’s Own’. The latest edit checks in on the Australian leg of the tour. Evan, Cyril Jackson, Tristan Funkhouser and Wes Kremer were joined by Aussies Alex Lawton, Tommy Fynn and Chase Jaeger in search of good spots and good times. They also had to do a bit of rain dodging as it’s not always perfect down under but that didn’t stop Tristan Funkhouser. Click play below for four minutes of serious DC action.
