Now this is one not to be missed! Boys Of Summer Two via Thrasher Magazine hits the spot like no other. The fun filled vibes from the wide variety of skateboarding’s elite is just straight up motivational.
Filmed at spots Worldwide with plentiful cameos from the legends normally hidden behind the lens. The pro and am list is pretty endless also with appearances from the list featured below. And say what! even new Eric Koston footage mixed in with his steep street skating history of some unseen clips. Then of course the notorious Guy Mariano never fails to impress. He may only put out the best of the best footage nowadays but my goodness it’s pure gold dust as ever!
Basically this video is one showcase (and film reel) of the fun side of professional skateboarding. As it is in every car-park around the World it’s just skaters having a blast with there mates. As mentioned even down to the filmers/photographers getting there shine.
Some stand out highlights without giving to much away. Jerry Hsu ‘Red Red Wine’ part is pure style gold. Gonz cameo just because he’s the Gonz basically. The snippet of the previously mentioned Guy Mariano. Skateboarding’s magician Rowan Zorilla, so so good at any spot and natural style/ability way beyond his years. This one will take a few watches, not only is it over the hour mark but there’s just so many damn folk you’ll miss the first time round. Feel the good times flow in this much loved sequel for ‘Boys Of Summer’ and serious props to all involved in bringing this master piece together.
A video by the World renowned Jeff & Charles… Art director A. Ross. Filmed by Logan Lara & Jeff Potocar.

I would like to thank Free Skate Magazine for releasing an interview with one of skateboarding’s biggest legends Eric Koston earlier this morning. Eric Koston has been a familiar face in the skateboard world for a huge number of years and he has definitely had a huge influence on me as a skateboarder and even as a person. This is probably because, from what I’ve seen anyway that he is one of the soundest dudes off his board but also when on his board he is destructible. Tackling any spot he is graced with, with a huge amount of style and technical ability. ERIC KOSTON RULES! I don’t want to give too much away in regards with what was spoken about in the interview but lets just say some current topics involving himself leaving Girl Skateboards and his new shoe release on Nike SB were spoken about. There are also some dope photos of the man himself skating one of London’s most infamous spots, South-Bank included as well as the edit featured above. Hit the link and have a read, what else will brighten up this average Thursday after all.
Nike SB have already come through with a unique colour pallet on the 1st drop on the SS14 release including the Lunar One Shot which you may have already read about on our blog. The 2nd drop of the season introduces a revolutionary take on the best selling skate shoes from Nike SB, the Janoski & Koston 2 to create a unique shoe. Each design combines the key components from the Janoski and Koston 2 with running inspired elements from Nike’s Air Max and Free Run sole technology to create an innovative hybrid for skateboarding.
TheNike SB Janoski Max features a breathable, extremely lightweight synthetic mesh upper which is detailed with a faint camouflage layer. The outter sole is fused with the flexible Nike Free tread at the front, with Air Max style sole at the heel which will provide extra impact protection, the speckled sole really adds a splash of character to the shoe. Available in Midnight Navy/White and Crimson Red/White.
TheNike SB Koston 2 Max is a transformed take on the Koston 2‘s. As with the Janoski, the Koston 2 Max carries the same sole structure with the Free Run along the front outter-sole completed with Air Max rear sole. The new design features lightweight Hyperfuse and mesh construction while the combination of a Max Air heel unit and Free forefoot provides a flexible cushioning.
