Harry Lintell in Milan for Vague with Munro and Barney Page

Tuesday, January 5th, 2021

Harry Lintell in Milan anyone? Vague magazine starting 2021 off with bang courtesy of Black Sheep family member Harry Lintell in Milan for Vague, alongside Charlie Munro and Barney Page. We’re not really sure if it’s appropriate to wish you all a Happy New Year seeing as our ever capable government have just locked us all in the house again but this will occupy 5 minutes where you’re not fretting about bog roll at least.
Hairy Lentils footage is always a treat, so seeing his ridiculous skills set alongside the equally mental abilities of UK cohorts Barney Page and Charlie Munro, is just adding delicious cherries to an already scrumptious skateboard cake. (Where am I going with this…?)

With UK-import and firm VX1000 favourite Quentin ‘@pertharms’ Guthrie behind the camera, you should know already that the filming and editing in this will be seamless and focused on showing the skating in the best possible light, which is sadly less common than it ought to be these days.
If you’re keen to see some of Quentin’s previous releases after watching this banger – we’d recommend starting with his 2016 maiden voyage (as far as UK footage goes) in the shape of ‘Brexit’ below.
If you enjoy that, (which you most definitely will) – head over to his pertharms YouTube channel for more.

Anyway, to return to the matter at hand, namely Harry Lintell in Milan for Vague: as you’d expect Harry royally fucks shit up, opening up the clip with a brace of tasty lines and introducing Mister Page and Munro who also deliver hard on the footage front. The UK trio are also joined by Milan resident and Baker skateboards pro Jacopo Carozzi who drops a line oozing with style and grace. Interestingly for a Milan clip, ‘Travel Corridor’ has minimal Milan train station plaza footage and offers up a bunch of new (to me at least) amazing spots from elsewhere in this Italian metropolis.
Two immense thumbs up for UK Primitive and New Balance Numeric rider Charlie Munro’s ender too – did somebody say ‘pinch’?
That’s it for now. Stay safe everyone.

New Jordan Sharkey part for Vans Europe

Monday, August 10th, 2020

Hyped on this new Jordan Sharkey part for Vans Europe!
If you’re thirsty for more banger UK content then look no further. Here’s a Black Sheep family duo serving up an all new Jordan Sharkey part for Vans Europe. Filmed and edited by long-time Black Sheep media node and one-time rugby star-in-the-making Isaac Wilkinson: this is all killer, no filler.

Luckily for you all, Vague skate mag have seen fit to conduct an interview with our Welsh brother too, so you can hear a lot of the background behind the filming of this piece, of Jordan winning the Berrics/Element ‘Make It Count’ contest and more besides.
If you’ve had the pleasure to meet Jordan Sharkey in real life then you’ll also know that he’s as insanely talented in the flesh as he is on video, which is probably why Nick Stansfield added him to the Black Sheep team only 30 minutes after meeting him.

Isaac and blondie are a team and a half and this latest Jordan Sharkey part for Vans Europe follows in the wake of a brace of other banging releases from the pair. If you fancy peeping a few of those, keep scrolling past this text and you’ll find a few embedded for your pleasure. Big love to Jordan for always repping so hard and never losing his grip on the beaming grom that he started off as. Likewise, heavy knuckles to Isaac Wilkinson for always coming through with the goods, despite his high octane career filming biscuit commercials for her Majesty. HD 4:3 on point big man!

Full props also to Manhead and all at Vans Europe for keeping Jordan in shoes and of course, to Element skateboards for hooking him up as properly as his talent deserves.

After that, peep this earlier Issac and Sharkey collab piece celebrating the Element x Black Sheep Ten Year anniversary release from a couple of year back.

And then finally, for now – take in Isaac Wilkinson’s full-length Black Sheep video 01FUCKIN61 and go skateboarding.

Sirus spent 6 days with the team: Will Creswick, Francis Peters, Tristan Rudman, Tom Delion, Mike Clarkson, Jason Lewer, Joel Banner, Jimmy Silver, Caradog Emanuel, Joe Roberts, Casey Brown and Daniel Hill. The filming is even more dreamy in this edit. Shout out to Vauge Mag for presenting this video. Check it out:

Ricky Davidson – Winter In The City Avenue Skateboards

If you’ve ever frequented the Pump Cage skate park you may of come across the unassuming friendly Australian that is Ricky Davidson. Seriously one of the nicest Manchester’s skate scene import since Jiri Bulin. Plus along with being super grounded and all round good dude Ricky as you may of witnessed has some serious talent on a skateboard! His style to me is a like a Jason Adams, Wade Speyers modern street skating mix. And with those sort of credentials he’s one of the best up and comer in Manchester right now.

Cast your mind back to 2016 when Ricky stomped all over many a Manchester skate spots with his debut ‘Ender’ and ‘Official Welcome’ section for #01FUCKIN61

The above ridiculous part ended up premiering via Transworld Skateboard Magazine. Not a bad entry to the minds of skateboarders Worldwide eh…

Enough of my ramblings as this blog should be about Ricky’s first official video outing for Manchester based Avenue Skateboards. Obvious shout outs to Vague Skate Magazine for putting this out to the Worldwide web. Also if like Ricky you like beer hit the link??? Random, yes but Black Sheep’s own Ricky Davidson graces the Northern Monk beer collaboration with Vague Skate Mag latest joint outing. Beer can photography by straight up grafter and good guy Reece Leung that graces the latest loral hops 5.7% lager.
