Deathwish skateboards was founded in 2008 by pro skateboarders Erik Ellington & Jim Greco. Their plan was to create a sister brand for Baker Skateboards , gaining an almost instant fan base for themselves through their misfit team of heavy hitters, consisting of Jim Greco, Erik Ellington, Brian 'Slash' Hansen, Ramiro 'Furby' Salcedo, Neen Williams, Antwuan Dixon, Jon Dickson, Albert Madrid and Ryan 'Beagle One-ism' Ewing.
